Recognizing these realities, the Group is developing a production, business and investment development plan, focusing on nine core task groups, as outlined below:
- First, ensuring absolute safety across all business operations of the Group, under the principle “Safety First – No Compromise.” This encompasses the safety of people and assets, fire prevention and firefighting (FPF), environmental protection, financial security, information security, and legal compliance…
- Second, ensuring a leading role in energy security for production and consumption: This involves seriously adhering to the directives of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, etc., regarding petroleum business activities; ensuring stable supply to the economy under all circumstances, thereby maintaining the Group's position and affirming Petrolimex's core role in ensuring national energy security.
- Third, standardizing internal regulations and policies: conducting a thorough and expedited review, amending, and adjusting regulations to ensure full alignment with State laws and Group policies. This effort aims to unlock all resources and remove bottlenecks in organization and governance, considering this a “breakthrough of breakthroughs” to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Fourth, being decisive in investment and digital transformation: Continuing the effective implementation of Resolution No. 93-NQ/DU of the Group's Party Committee; focusing on automating all terminals and petroleum stations, deploying AI-enabled camera systems, replacing the store management system, and optimizing logistics flows; accelerating the commissioning of new petroleum stations and maximizing value-added services at the stations; decisively implementing vapor recovery projects, investing in replacing and modernizing the fleet of land transport vehicles; organizing an Investment and Development Conference to accelerate investment progress in order to maximize Petrolimex's advantages.
- Fifth, increasing sales volume while accelerating the transition to green, clean energy and controlling costs: gradually restructuring the product portfolio towards increasing the proportion of green and clean energy; focusing on investing in and upgrading the infrastructure and facilities to support the deployment of E10 and Euro V-standard fuels; developing flexible market-oriented marketing policies to strive for double-digit growth; optimizing logistics, transportation, blending, and warehousing costs; and strengthening internal control and risk management in operations.
- Sixth, strengthening employee policies and human resource development: Developing compensation and remuneration policies that are commensurate with job performance; strengthening training and development for managers and employees at all levels; focusing on developing high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the new phase.
- Seventh, maximizing the value chain within the ecosystem: Strengthening internal synergies among petroleum, insurance, transportation, petrochemicals, and gas sectors; ensuring the supply chain efficiency and leveraging internal strengths.
- Eighth, strengthening brand protection efforts: developing and implementing a roadmap for rollout of the new brand identity throughout the entire Petrolimex system, ensuring uniformity, consistency, and adherence to the Group's direction and roadmap.
- Ninth, developing corporate culture and social responsibility: Building a culture “Innovation – Transparency – Efficiency – Customer Focus”; Promoting social welfare programs, environmental protection, and the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility toward the community.
2026 – the year marking the beginning of the 2026-2030 five-year socio-economic development plan and the 70th anniversary of the establishment, development, and growth of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group. Building on the tradition of unity, discipline, and innovation, all Petrolimex employees are determined to work together, proactively adapt, and strive to comprehensively fulfill all assigned goals, tasks, and plans, thereby maintaining the Group's role as a key enterprise in ensuring national energy security, while creating a solid foundation for a new development phase towards integration, modernization, green and digital transformation, and sustainability.
